Blinds with Cloth Tape
Rustic Wood Blind
Colors, Too!

Many options are available for wood blinds.  You can choose decorative tape instead of string for the ladders.  Tapes come in a variety of sizes, colors and patterns to customize your blinds.  Blinds are also available routeless, with no holes to let light seep in.  Other options include "s" - shaped slats, shutter blinds, and a variety of valance choices.

Wood blinds are available in a variety of colors and stains.  They are also available in rustic wood styles, with visible knots and other unique wood characteristics.  Most wood blinds are made from basswood or poplar. Genuine woods, made from cherry, pine, oak, or maple are also available.  Paint colors range from an array of whites and off-whites to deep jewel tones.

Faux wood or wood composite blinds are also available.  The advantage of the faux woods, such as HunterDouglas Everwoods, is that they are guaranteed against warpage in high-humidity areas.  Faux wood blinds are available in wood-tone stains and many shades of white.  Everwoods can also be ordered in a 2 1/2 inch shutter blind.

This stunning wood blind is actually three blinds on one headrail.  The picture window was too large for one wood blind to be covered under the manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty, so we provided our customer with one blind which was actually three blinds on one headrail.  The blind is now fully covered under warranty, and looks great.  The slats can be tilted through one mechanism so it tilts open and closed like a single blind.  This blind is shown with the Royale Valance, which creates elegant harmony with sophisticated curves and arcs.  Several valance styles are available, from simple and understated to ornate and elegant.
